Story
Hi, my name is Lindsay and 10 years ago I was given the devasting news that I had a very rare bone tumour in my leg. With a fantastic surgeon at RNOH, the oncology team at UCLH, and the support of my wonderful family and friends, I got through the toughest of times.
While I have been left with mobility issues, I am eternally grateful to have the opportunity to take up this walking challenge with a group of dear friends and family by my side.
It will also, hopefully, mark the month that I am discharged from UCLH with no more follow up appointments. A milestone I feel incredibly lucky to have reached.
Primary Bone cancer is extremely rare and therefore does not receive as much publicity or funding as some of the more common cancers. Unfortunately this cancer is found mainly in children and young adults so any donation you can contribute will be greatly appreciated.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page and wishing us luck!
