Kilimanjaro Trek 2025 - Amnesty UK · 28 August 2025 to 5 September 2025 · Start fundraising for this event

A team of students at Regent's University London will be raising money for Amnesty International UK and preparing to trek Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak, in 2025.

Story

Hi! I am raising money for Amnesty International UK by taking part in the Mount Kilimanjaro Challenge. I'll be climbing the highest mountain in Africa over the course of nine-days, facing extreme temperatures, altitude and challenging terrain along the way.

Your donations will help Amnesty International UK expose human rights abuses in the UK and all over the world and to campaign for freedom and justice. Amnesty International UK work on a wide range of issues including women's rights, refugee rights, the human rights impact of climate change and in support of individuals whose rights have been violated.

All issues supported by Amnesty International UK are very important to me, and I believe anyone with the time, energy, and privilege to help those who don't have the resources should be aiding in some way- whether that's contributing to this fundraiser, supporting my Kilimanjaro Challenge, or sharing this page with others.

I will be trekking with other members of the Regent's University London community, and we all are very excited and motivated to get started on training and working towards raising our goals!

Any little bit helps immensely and the funds go directly to Amnesty International UK. I would really appreciate if you could contribute or share this page. I am challenging myself to summit Africa's tallest mountain and I challenge you to help campaign for freedom and justice for those who need it.

Thank you!
