Throughout February, I will be swimming the equivalent of the distance of the English Channel - approximately 22 miles and a total of 1416 lengths in a 25m pool (entirely in breaststroke). It's not going to be easy, but it's nothing compared to what survivors of sexual violence go through. That's why I'm fundraising for East Kent Rape Crisis Centre (EKRCC), a charity close to my heart that provides incredible and life-changing support for people in need during significant times of crisis. EKRCC is doing extremely important work, providing a safe space for survivors to heal and recover. Their services are essential, but they need help to continue providing them. By supporting my swim challenge, you can help EKRCC to continue to make a real difference.
