Story
As many of you know, mental health is something that has touched my family for many years. I’m choosing to run to show my support for anyone who may be struggling, as well as for the families who stand alongside them. It isn’t easy, but I truly believe that with awareness, support, and compassion, things can get better.
1 in 4 people will experience a mental health problem in any given year.
Oxfordshire Mind supports over 30,000 people annually, offering vital help to those facing mental health challenges. They promote good mental health by providing high-quality services and campaigning for positive, lasting change.
Their support includes housing services, talking therapies, benefits advice, a confidential information line, wellbeing courses, physical activity programmes, volunteering opportunities, and more than 60 peer-support groups every week.
