Story

May the 4th be with you!

Since moving to Maldon three years ago, I've loved watching the annual Maldon Mud Race. What could be more fun than drinking a pint in the sunshine and watching lunatics crawl, slip and slide their way across the river at low tide - no easy feat when the mud is goodness knows how many inches deep!

Well, more fun would be to do it myself, of course, so this year it's time to finally give it a go - and I've roped Toby and Lily in too (not entirely sure they know what they're letting themselves in for ... )

As a mega Star Wars fan, Toby is insisting we do it in Star Wars fancy dress ...

Please sponsor us! The Mud Race raises funds for lots of incredible charities include Essex and Herts Air Ambulance, Great Ormond Street, The Cinammon Trust, and Farleigh Hospice.
