Catherine and Emma are taking on two epic challenges to raise money for WLDCS:

On 19th April they will take to the streets of Manchester to complete the Adidas Manchester Marathon 2026, and then on 12th September they will take on The Lap - an Ultra marathon around Lake Windermere, covering a staggering 47 miles in 24 hours.

WLDCS is a charity that provides deaf children and their families with support and social activities, including swimming lessons, regular stay and play sessions, a youth group for older children and seasonal parties and celebrations.

For deaf children and their families in Wigan and Leigh, the charity helps them to form a network and share their lived experiences of deafness.

Catherine and Emma hope to raise £1000 to ensure that these events can continue, and provide vital support to deaf children in Wigan and Leigh.
