I'm running the 2024 Edinburgh half marathon to fundraise for the brilliant Lothians Veterans Centre. This small charity pack a mighty punch in the support they provide to Armed Forces Veterans and their families. Whether it's health, employment, housing, welfare or social isolation - no issue is beyond what LVC can help with.

I'm not a big time runner - various lower limb ailments have normally put a stop to it. The last time I ran a half marathon, I was 20 - this time, let's just say I'll be in the sunset of my 30s. So I'd be hugely grateful if you could give a few spare pennies to help LVC support more Veterans and their families in the Lothians area and to encourage me when my body is screaming "stop this you daftie" (or maybe bluer words to that effect!)
