Story
This year, taking part in the Dragon Boat Race for Northern Ireland Hospice means so much more to me than simply taking on a challenge.
Over 30 years ago, my Daddy was diagnosed with a brain tumour. During the final days of his life, Northern Ireland Hospice cared for him and supported our family through an incredibly difficult time. The care, compassion and dignity they gave my daddy is something I have never forgotten.
All these years later, I feel this is an opportunity for me to give something back to a charity that was there for my family when we needed them most.
So this year, I’ll be getting into that Dragon Boat, hopefully staying in it 😂, and doing my very best to raise as much as I can for Northern Ireland Hospice.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help them continue providing that same care and support to other patients and families across Northern Ireland.
This one is very close to my heart and is in memory of my Daddy. ❤️
Thank you so much for supporting me. 🐉🚣❤️
