Sprint For Seals 2025
Campaign by SEA LIFE Trust (RCN 1175859)
Our family-friendly fun run is back on Sunday, 18th May! Take part in our 3km run around the beautiful Cornish Seal Sanctuary or run remotely to raise money for our £1.3 million 'Fund Our Future' campaign to replace four of the resident seal pools.

Story

We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to support the Cornish Seal Sanctuary, a place that is dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of injured seals. During our second summer holiday in Cornwall, we were fortunate enough to be allowed 'Behind the Scenes' at the Sanctuary, where we witnessed firsthand the tireless efforts of the staff who work so passionately to help these amazing animals.

On Sunday, 18th May 2025, we will be participating in the ‘Sprint for Seals 2025’ 3km event remotely once again. Our goal is to raise £50 to contribute to the sanctuary’s ‘Fund Our Future’ campaign, which aims to build new pools for the resident seals. Your support would mean so much to us and make a significant impact on this vital cause.

"Fund Our Future is a £1.3 million campaign to redevelop the sanctuary pools and remain world leaders in seal conservation and care. With your support, they can:

- Build a state-of-the-art filtration system, dramatically improving water quality for the animals

- Improve access to pools for their carers, giving them more space to train and enrich the resident seals.

- Create a new undercover viewing area

- Exceed recommended standards in marine mammal care

- Inspire the next generation of ocean champions."
