NHS75 Park Run with Miss B!, 8 July 2023
Oxford Health Charity are supporting the Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (OSRU) at Abingdon Community Hospital to help fund some new arm rehabilitation equipment to help aid recovery of our stroke survivors.

Story

I am lucky enough to spend my working hours at the Oxfordshire Stroke Rehabilitation Unit (OSRU) at Abingdon Community Hospital, which provides specialist rehabilitation for people post-stroke. I see every day how significantly stroke affects an individual and their family, and work with an amazing team of professionals who help people start to put their lives back together.

A common consequence of stroke is loss of arm function and we are trying to raise £7500 to purchase new equipment to help with arm recovery. One of our fundraising efforts is a team of 15 staff running the NHS75 Parkrun on Saturday 8th July. Miss B is joining me to run the course (buggy allowed) and we'd love any sponsorship you can offer. A huge thank you for your generosity :)
