We’re Climbing for Ruils Counselling:

On May 17th, my husband Chris and I will be taking on the Three Peaks Challenge—climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike, and Snowdon in just 24 hours, as part of a wider Ruils team.

We’re doing this to raise vital funds for the Ruils Counselling Service—a service I help run and work in, and one that is incredibly dear to my heart.

Every day, I see the difference the Ruils Counselling service makes. Many of our clients come to us feeling isolated, overwhelmed, traumatised, or even suicidal. Often, they have nowhere else to turn. Our counselling team offers them a safe space to be heard, seen, and supported often for the first time, through some of the darkest and loneliest times in their lives. For many, this is the first step toward healing and hope.

However, the cost of counselling can be a barrier for many of our clients. That’s where we and hopefully, you can help. It costs Ruils £300 to provide 12 sessions of counselling. That’s 12 hours of professional, compassionate support that can truly change a life.
