This June I will be jumping out of a plane to raise money for Just-Ice, a charity close to my heart…

For the past few years I’ve worked for Just-Ice, an ethical ice cream shop which is a charity helping survivors of modern slavery rebuild their confidence and gain skills in order to get back into the work environment.

It’s been an eye-opening few years as I’ve heard heartbreaking stories of those that have faced severe persecution both in and out of this country. Studies show that there are an estimated 49.6 million people trapped in modern slavery worldwide, which can look like sexual exploitation, domestic servitude, forced labour, or criminal exploitation.

Through lots of prayer and hard work, we’ve watched several survivors rebuild their lives by learning to trust again, which has been incredible to watch 💜
