Story
My Choose Your30 challenge and commitment:
I want to challenge myself to learn 30 new things this year. I've learned so much in my 10 years with Hampton Trust, and continue to learn every day; learn new skills, learn new ways of thinking about things, learn about the people I work with both clients and staff, and learn about myself. My challenge will be to take time and reflect on what I'm learning, because it can get so busy, reflecting and taking stock of learning doesn't always happen.
About Hampton Trust
On 29 April 1996, Hampton Trust was founded based on a simple belief: that harmful behaviour is not inevitable, and that with the right support, people can and do change.
Today, Hampton Trust works across England and Wales. They deliver behaviour change interventions in communities and within the criminal justice system. They train frontline professionals to have difficult but essential conversations. And they support victims and survivors, children, and women who have found themselves on the wrong side of a system that too often failed to help them sooner.
Last year alone, they supported more than 3,000 service users and trained over 1,100 professionals.
But creating sustainable change requires resources. This is why I am taking part in Hampton Trust's Choose YOUR 30! campaign - to raise awareness of our work, and to support the organisation, service users, and the many victims/survivors that benefit from Hampton Trust's work.
