On 6th November 2020 my life changed forever. I was in labour with my second child when a midwife told me she couldn't find our baby's heartbeat. An ambulance ride, scan and 2 doctors later and we were told the devastating news that our baby had died.

After another 12 hours of labour I delivered our baby, who we then found out was a little girl.

We named her Mavy Nola Kellegher. She weighed 8lb 10oz and looked just like her big sister Nola.

That night Theresa came out to wash and dress Mavy and take photos and keepsakes which would carry me through the next few months and beyond. Every year I go through my box and photos and feel so grateful to Theresa that I have them.

Theresa runs this charity completely alone and relies on funding to keep this service available for future families going through this devastating loss.

I've decided to run a marathon having not run any great distance for well over 8 years. I'm doing this particular Marathon because it's 3 days before Mavy's 4th birthday and is also the month I should be applying for her place at school for the following September.

I'll be thinking of Mavy with every step.
