Story
Several years ago I visited Parliament, and was moved to see a plaque commemorating Jo Cox in the House of Commons. Underneath were the words: "More in Common".
In July, I'm joining a group of over 100 riders to undertake the Jo Cox Way - a cycle ride of nearly 300 miles from Jo's constituency in West Yorkshire to London.
Although this is a daunting challenge for me, I'm taking part because - like Jo herself - I believe that we have more in common than that which divides us. Over five days, this group - from a range of different backgrounds and different cycling abilities - will really bring Jo's message to life.
I'm also fundraising for The Jo Cox Foundation as part of this challenge. The charity was founded to make meaningful change on issues that Jo was passionate about. Everything that you donate will go to their work to bring the more in common message to life.
The Jo Cox Foundation is a small charity with a big impact. So please give what you can to help them to achieve even more change in Jo's memory.
