We are embarking on this challenge as it falls on what would have been Emma’s daughter Hayley’s 33rd birthday. The struggle with Ems fluctuating mental health is a constant in both of our lives. Because of this we have chosen to challenge ourselves and in the process raise awareness of the important work that Mind do.

People that know us well, know that we are keen runners and love to spend as much time out on the hills as we can hiking and running. Spending time in nature is proven to help balance the mind.

Although we haven’t ran any large distances since 2019 we have decided to take part in a 50KM ultra challenge in the Lake District on June 8th.
