Colour Run in honour of Peter! 🌈🏃‍♀️

April is Autism Awareness Month , to celebrate I will be running the colour run in Queen Elizabeth Plating Feilds Lisburn honouring my little brother Peter.

Peter has and always will be my greatest teacher in life. From the moment he was born , peter showed me that love needs no words, and although our sibling bond might look different on the outside , most of my special memories in life have been with my brother through silent hugs that make the love i have for him even louder!

Before Christmas me and peters daddy passed away and during this time peter taught me what real strength and resilience looks like giving me my own strength to continue my life despite being filled with grief. Peter taught me through his laughs and smiles that even in the darkest times you can still find joy.

Autism NI is an amazing charity , funding essential resources and equipment that helps families just like us. This charity also focuses on breaking the stigma which still exists with only 4 out of 10 people in Ireland claiming to have a “good” understanding of what Autism is!. Ensuring funds for Autism NI is essential to not only provide necessary resources but educate others fostering a society that celebrates diversity instead of discriminating.
