Those of you who know me well, know that I love flying planes and that I enjoy adrenaline activities. I have decided to do a Wing Walk to raise money for DRASACS, a charity close to my heart, who have a long and successful history of delivering face to face therapy. They offer an independent sexual violence advocacy and counselling.

ISVA workers will listen to you and find out what your needs are. They will then help you to access support from other agencies such as the NHS, housing providers and benefits advice organisations. They will also help you through the Criminal Justice System if you choose to report the incident.

Therapy can help people to manage and relieve the distress caused by experiencing rape or sexual abuse. Therapy can help you to take control of your situation and make positive decisions about your future. They are able to provide counselling for children, young people, adults and family members of those affected by sexual violence.

If anyone would be willing to donate to this amazing cause, it will go towards helping other victims of rape.
