Emma and Matt are running the Richmond Half Marathon on Sunday 14th September 2025. It’s Emma’s first ever half (go Em!) and we are inspired to do this to raise money for an incredible charity: Children International.

The charity works around the world, providing long-term support to children living in poverty - with money distributed through local community centres, so every child gets the support they actually need which includes education, healthcare, life skills training, emotional support and when the time comes employment support.

As well as being an amazing charity, there is also a personal connection for us. Emma’s aunt and uncle, Richard and Sabine, sponsor four children through the programme and in 2012 they visited their sponsored child in Kolkata India. In addition, Richard has seen first hand the incredible work that Children International do in the Dominican Republic, Guatemala and is going to Colombia in October.

It’s this kind of genuine, personal care that inspires us to support Children International, and would be so grateful if you could kindly help us to raise money for them!
