On 4th October, I’ll be taking on a challenge that is definitely going to push me out of my comfort zone! I’ll be abseiling down the Europa in Belfast to raise money for the Northern Ireland Music Therapy Trust. 🧡

Anyone who knows me personally will know just how much love and gratitude I have for this organisation. Put simply, I owe my life to them.

Music Therapy came into my life when I was 15, during a time when I was in complete crisis with my mental health. I spent almost three years working with my Music Therapist, where I learned to communicate through music, songwriting and singing.

At a time when I felt completely voiceless, Music Therapy gave me a way to express the things I couldn’t put into words. It helped me find my voice, understand myself and feel heard.

I truly believe Music Therapy saved my life back then.

I feel incredibly lucky that, all these years later, I’m still part of this amazing organisation and have the opportunity to give something back.

I will never be able to repay what Music Therapy gave me, but by raising money, I can hopefully help make sure someone else gets the same opportunity I was given.

Every donation, no matter how big or small, will help provide the gift of Music Therapy to someone who needs it and help keep this incredible service available to those in need.
