Story
12 June 2026 was the 10 year anniversary of James passing away. Over the course of 24 hours from the evening of 24 July, Emma, Susanna, Ellie, Lisa, Becky, Jaylynne and Tony, together with many supporters and well-wishers, will be undertaking the 24 in 24 challenge - walking 24 miles in 24 hours, with minimal sleep.
We are raising funds to continue the work of the charity - all of which is aimed at providing opportunities to children that are at risk of being left behind. Recent projects that we have funded have included (and continue to include):
- a brand new classroom block for a school in rural Uganda;
- supporting 91 girls who are at significant risk of being taken out of school for economic or other reasons through education in Uganda;
- the construction of a new playhouse for severely disabled children at While Lodge in Chertsey;
- the purchase of specialist equipment to enable an additional 1,000 equine facilitated learning sessions to children and young people that have suffered some kind of trauma and are at significant risk of being marginalised in London and Surrey
Every penny raised from this challenge will go to the causes we support.
Thank you so much for your kind donation.
