Story
🎗️ On the 20th of September, I’ll be taking on a trail marathon – just six weeks after ringing the bell to mark the end of my cancer treatment.
Last year, I was diagnosed with HER2 Positive Stage 3 Breast Cancer. What followed was the toughest year of my life: months of chemotherapy, a single mastectomy, and radiotherapy. I did my best to stay active and positive, but there were days when getting out of bed felt impossible—and moments when fear crept in.
But thanks to incredible advances in cancer research, and the amazing support I’ve had along the way, I made it through.
Now, I want to give back.
I’m running this marathon to raise money for cancer research—so that more people can get the treatments, hope, and second chances that I’ve been so fortunate to receive.
💡 Did you know scientists are developing new cancer treatments that target only cancer cells—leaving healthy ones untouched?
These targeted therapies are transforming treatment. Rather than affecting the whole body like traditional chemotherapy, these smart drugs home in on the cancer itself. That means fewer side effects, better outcomes, and more people keeping their quality of life while fighting the disease.
This progress gives me hope that in the future, people won’t have to lose so much of their lives to stay alive.
Every donation—big or small—will help fund lifesaving research and support patients as they face the hardest battle of their lives.
Thank you so much for supporting me. It truly means the world. 💖
Here’s to life after cancer—and to a future where no one has to fear a diagnosis.
