Story
The last month has been the hardest month of my families life and has felt like somewhat of a nightmare.
I want to run the Great North Run 2025 in honor of my dad who sadly we lost to bowel cancer very suddenly last month. I know for a fact he wouldn't want me mopping about feeling sad, he would be screaming at me to get on with it! So instead I'm taking a leaf out of his book and working towards this run to keep me active and raise money for a charity which may be able to prevent this happening to others.
I am and forever will be so grateful and proud of my dad for everything he has done for me and my sister. Although he is not here to guide me through the next steps in my life I know doing this run would be something he would be incredibly proud of.
This one is for you farth♥️
Love

I'm running the Great North Run 2025 as part of #TeamBowelCancerUK.
I’ve chosen to support Bowel Cancer UK as they're UK’s leading bowel cancer charity. They’re determined to save lives and improve the quality of life of everyone affected by bowel cancer.
They support and fund targeted research, provide expert information and support to patients and their families, educate the public and professionals about the disease and campaign for early diagnosis and access to best treatment and care.
How your donation could help make a difference:
• £10 could deliver an awareness talk.
• £25 could provide an hour’s expert nurse support on our Ask the Nurse service.
• £50 could help support policy work to improve bowel screening.
By donating today, we can help Bowel Cancer UK achieve their vision of a future where nobody dies of bowel cancer. Thank you.
