AANI Abseil Europa · 12 October 2025

Participants are testing their head for heights with this thrilling 120ft abseil down the iconic Europa Hotel in Belfast, in support of Air Ambulance NI.

Story

On Sunday, 12th October, I and other brave participants will take on an exhilarating 120ft abseil down the iconic Europa Hotel, all to support the life-saving work of Air Ambulance NI.

Some of you may call me crazy for doing this 😂, but the Scout Leader in me wants to do this to show that you can do anything!

The Air Ambulance NI is such a worthy cause and is vital for those in need and they are only a charity run organisation!

I’m also doing this in memory of those that I have lost recently and I know they will be proud of me for doing this. Especially as the date for this event will the anniversary of the passing of my Aunt J🥰❤️

Please donate as much as you can and I will eternally grateful for all the love and support that you give ☺️

The Air Ambulance is a lifeline for people across Northern Ireland, reaching anywhere in the province within an incredible 25 minutes from its airbase in Lisburn. Tasked an average of twice daily, its doctor and paramedic team respond to emergencies like serious road traffic collisions, farm and workplace accidents, sports incidents, and medical emergencies.

Every second counts when saving a life, and your support can make a critical difference. The charity relies on £6,850 in daily fundraising to keep its life-saving service in operation.

By donating, you are helping the medical crew continue to deliver urgent care when and where it's needed most.
