I’m going to do a sponsored Skydive to raise money for the Snowdrop project.

The Snowdrop Project is a Sheffield-based charity which supports and empowers survivors of modern slavery and exploitation in South Yorkshire to recover from their pasts and rebuild their futures. I have supported some victims first hand through the work I do in employment and skills development, so feel passionate about this cause.

Snowdrop provides holistic, long-term, community-based support to survivors so that they can reach a place of independence. Their approach covers all key support needs, including independent living, physical and mental wellbeing, community engagement, education and employment.

Last year the project received a record number of referrals and have subsequently had to put new referrals on hold. Their service is vital in helping the victims to rebuild their lives.
