In November this year I will be joining a team of 60 riders taking part in Child.org's Ride Africa 500k five-day challenge, from Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara cross-country through Africa’s National Parks. We will be raising money for life-saving work in maternal and child health.

For me, personally, this is a HUGE challenge. I don't own a bike and I'm not a cyclist but it felt like a brilliant initiative and - in a year where it could have been easy to focus on other uphill struggles ( IYKYK!) - this felt much more positive and fun!

Thank you for giving whatever you can - everything you give will go directly to life-saving work in maternal and child health and NOT to fund my trip to Kenya (by the way!)
