Myself and the girls from work decided to take on this years 18 mile kilt walk to support AberNecessities because through my work I regularly see the incredible support they provide to families in our local community. I’ve seen first-hand the difference they make, and wanted to give something back to help them continue their amazing work.

AberNecessities is a local charity supporting underprivileged families across Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. They provide essential items to help parents care for their babies and children, easing some of the pressure that comes with raising a young family on limited resources.

The charity supplies vital everyday items such as formula milk, nappies, toiletries, clothing, and even larger essentials like cots. Things many families simply cannot afford.

Every penny donated goes directly towards purchasing these items, which are then given straight to the families who need them most.
