This year I made a promise to a very dear wonderful friend Louisa Ruth Butler (Lulu Rob) who lost her battle to breast cancer in July this year, the promise and one that I hope you will all help and encourage me to keep is that I will run 2 half marathons Cologne on the 5 October 25 and Cambridge March 26. I will be raising money for Future Dreams a charity which had become such an important part of Lulu’s life the last few months, it gave her support in many different ways one being that she made friends with people who knew what she was going through, I know she loved the cinema nights they organised and many other activities and support networks provided so much so that she herself wanted to raise money for them so I will do the best I can to continue this.

Now a bit about Lulu and I she was my friend who loved me unconditionally as did I her it is that simple and I shall always feel blessed for her choosing me as her friend. Lulu and I both secretly loved the Golden Girls so in the words of that great show Lulu “thank you for being my friend “ 💕
