We’re leading the fight for a future where all young minds are supported and empowered, whatever the challenges. We’re here to make sure children and young people get the best possible mental health support and have the resilience to overcome life’s difficulties. Join our fight.

Story

This race will be the hardest thing I have attempted to date. The distance, weather, hills, bogs, sleep deprivation, hallucinations, dehydration, vomiting, pain will be the ultimate challenge for body and mind.

With the nature of this challenge requiring extreme resilience and endurance, I have decided to support the charity YoungMinds which is the UK's leading charity championing the wellbeing and mental health of children and young people. This is to acknowledge the difficulties my daughters and millions of other young people have to endure. As well as the usual teenage challenges, some have a hell of a lot more to cope with, through no fault of their own. The young minds trust do an incredible job of supporting these young people. They create change so that children and young people can cope with life's adversities, find help when needed and succeed in life.
