Story

During my placement year as a legal assistant at Hawley and Rodgers Solicitors, I had the privilege of working closely with victims from Juno Women's Aid, I have seen firsthand the vital support they offer to victims of domestic abuse. That experience has inspired me to join this campaign, raising awareness and support for the important work undertaken by Juno Women's Aid.

The Steps to Survive Fundraiser occurs every year between 1st to 31st May during National Walking Month. Fundraisers are challenged to walk 39 miles within the month to raise vital funds for Juno Women's Aid.

Juno Women’s Aid is the largest domestic abuse organisation in Nottingham and one of the largest in the UK. They work with women, children, and teens who have been affected by domestic abuse in Ashfield, Broxtowe, Gedling, Nottingham City, and Rushcliffe. At any one time, they're supporting 500-600 women and children.

This campaign hopes to raise awareness of Domestic Abuse and the courage it takes for a survivor to take those steps to freedom.
