Story
Those who know me will know I’m not a runner at all. In fact, I’ve spent most of my life avoiding it! So taking on Couch to 5K might not seem like a huge challenge to some, but for me (and my dodgy knees) it’s a really big deal.
On 10th March 2026, one year on from losing my amazing brother, I’ll be starting this journey in his memory. The programme will take me right up to James’s birthday in May, which feels like a meaningful way to honour him and keep going even when it feels tough. Every step will be for him.
I’m raising money for HOPE, a South Yorkshire charity that supports families bereaved by road traffic collisions, providing understanding, guidance and comfort when it’s needed most. If you’re able to donate, no matter how small, it would mean so much, not just to me, but to the families that HOPE continues to help and support.
