Story
I’m taking on the Cardiff Half Marathon in support of Sport in Mind, an incredible charity that uses the power of sport and physical activity to improve the lives of people experiencing mental health challenges.
Sport has been a constant in my life — I’ve been active since I was very young and went on to play lacrosse in college, where I learned resilience, discipline, and the value of being part of a team. Over the last couple of years, running and exercise have taken on an even deeper meaning for me as I’ve navigated anxiety. Movement has become one of my most important tools for supporting my mental well-being, which is why running for Sport in Mind feels so personal and purposeful.
This race is also part of my goal to complete all of the Super Halfs, and Cardiff will be my next step on that journey. Every mile I run is in support of Sport in Mind’s work in communities across the UK — helping people feel connected, supported, and empowered through sport.
If you’re able to donate, you won’t just be supporting my training and race day — you’ll be helping bring access to movement, community, and hope to people who truly need it. Thank you so much for supporting this cause 💙
