I’m joining the 2026 Family Rights Groupathlon to support more children to stay safely in their family and out of care. I am a proud trustee of Family Rights Group - it is an exceptional organisation that works tirelessly to support families.

As a team, we are collectively completing the equivalent of an ultratriathlon (and more). Between 12th to 20th September 2026 we will be swimming, cycling or running the distance.

100,000 children are in care in the UK - often isolated and alone, far away from their family and friends.

Families are finding it difficult to get the support they need before the situation escalates to a crisis.

More children could be raised safely within their family, with grandparents and others, however this option is too often not explored.

With your support, Family Rights Group can help more children to remain safely living with relatives who they know and love, and for children in care to have relationships with brothers, sisters, grandparents.
