No one should have to sleep rough in winter, but during these months dozens of homeless people in Cambridge and thousands of refugees in Northern France are facing the bitter reality of trying to sleep in freezing cold, wet, and wretched conditions.

With the Cambridge Convoy Refugee Group (CamCRAG) and in cooperation with the Cambridge City Foodbank, I will be sleeping outside (without a tent) on 7th -8th March 2026.

This event highlights the fact that these people all face the same problems, and that they share a common humanity, and that homelessness is not their fault.
