Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

In a moment of madness I decided to sign up for the MK half marathon - no mean feat for someone that previously could only run to end of the road and back(!) and I decided that if I was going to attempt this, I should motivate myself by running for a good cause.

As some of my friends and family know, I was recently diagnosed with APS. APS is a blood clotting disorder that can cause strokes, heart attacks, DVTs and in pregnancy is a leading cause of miscarriage. Sadly the latter is how my diagnosis was made and APS Support UK have been excellent at helping me to understand the condition and how it will affect my life.
