Story

Support Our School and The Hive Thanet CIC@ Foreland Fields

Hello, we are raising funds for Foreland Fields School through our unique initiative, The Hive @ Foreland Fields. The Hive Thanet Community Interest Company (CIC) has been established to meet the needs of children, young people and adults with learning difficulties and disabilities. It aims to provide lifelong leisure and learning opportunities, reduce social isolation, enhance physical and mental health, and boost employment prospects. Our facilities include inclusive changing areas, an education and training space, inclusive kitchen, horticultural facilities, a Forest School, cycle track/paths and a sports field This space is used by our school, the community, and various local SEN schools and clubs.

Our goal is to provide a safe, specialised resource that promotes physical well-being and social development, improving the quality of life for all users. Your support will help us continue this important work.

Foreland Fields Charity, established in June 2018, is dedicated to enriching the lives of young people with Profound, Severe, and Complex Needs (PSCN) in Thanet and East Kent. We provide vital equipment, activities, and resources, supporting skill development and community participation. Our charity is closely linked with Foreland Fields School and relies on community events, local business support, and grants to meet our objectives.

Foreland Fields School, The Hive Thanet CIC and the Foreland Fields Charity have a symbiotic, mutually supportive working relationship, with all parties working together to provide opportunities for the SEN community.

Join us in making a difference. Your donations will help us maintain and expand this incredible facility, ensuring it remains a beacon of support and opportunity for those who need it most.

Thank you for your generosity and support!
