Story
I'm going to be doing the Three Peak Challenge for the Grand Appeal with my friend Kayleigh on 22nd August. The Grand Appeal do such great work for both Bristol Children's Hospital and St Michael's Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Shortly after I was born I had a subarachnoid haemorrhage and I spent some time in Southmead Hospital's NICU. I am therefore very passionate about the Grand Appeal's work, and when I saw the opportunity to do this challenge I knew I had to take it. I also immediately knew that Kayleigh would be mad enough to join me, and as soon as I asked her there was a very definite yes (with the acceptance that we were crazy for actually wanting to do this).
We will be doing the challenge over 30 hours with the support of the Grand Appeal. We have now started training for this, and would be very grateful for any donations you can give.
