Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

“Does anyone fancy cycling to ESHRE?”

That was how we pitched the idea to a few colleagues who had mentioned that they were hoping to attend the annual fertility meeting being held in Paris from 29 June-2 July 2025 by the European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE).

Most smiled and told us to get on our bikes. However, five of us decided to take on the challenge:

Bryan Woodward, X&Y Fertility

Emma Whitney, Evewell London

Mahb Rahman, ESCO

Dave Cowan (Mahb's neighbour)

Tony Gordon, Cooper Genomics

We'll be setting off from the Royal College of Pathologist in London on 26th June. We plan to cycle around 70miles that day to reach Newhaven port on the south coast of England. We’ll then take the ferry across to the French port of Dieppe. After that, it’s a two day ride to Paris.

We'll be raising funds for the Klinefelter’s Syndrome Association, a charity that supports people affected by KS/XXY.

We'd be grateful for any support on this eco-friendly challenge of cycling from London to Paris. Our way of travelling is better for the environment than the car, train and plane; and since pollution has been linked to infertility, we're doing our bit to reduce carbon emissions.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the KSA. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks in advance for supporting our challenge!
