Story

Why I’m Fundraising

I’m taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon with Summits Up, not just as a personal challenge, but to help fund something that is urgently needed.

Right now, there are people struggling with their mental health who simply can’t get help quickly enough. NHS waiting lists can be long, and when someone reaches crisis point, waiting isn’t always an option.

That’s where Summits Up steps in.

They fund fast access to qualified, one-to-one therapists often within 24–48 hours, giving people immediate support when they need it most. For many, this can be the difference between continuing to struggle alone and finally being able to talk to someone who can help.

Why Your Donation Matters

Every donation goes directly towards funding therapy sessions for someone in crisis.

£10 helps move someone closer to getting support

£50 contributes towards a professional therapy session

£300 can fund a full course of counselling for someone who otherwise couldn’t afford it.
