Story
This year I'm taking on the Robin Hood Half Marathon for Summits Up, the charity I co-founded to help people access mental health support when they need it most.
Over the years I've seen first-hand how difficult it can be for people to get help quickly when they're struggling. Too often, someone reaches out for support only to find themselves facing long waiting lists and delays. When you're in crisis, waiting simply isn't always an option.
That's why we created Summits Up. Our aim is simple: to help people access qualified, one-to-one therapy quickly, often within 24–48 hours. We believe that nobody should have to face their darkest moments alone.
As a founder of the charity, it only feels right that I take on this challenge alongside our incredible community of supporters, fundraisers and runners. Every mile I run is for the people who need help, the people who have already benefited from support, and the amazing community that continues to make this possible.
Every donation, no matter the size, helps us provide access to life-changing therapy for someone who may otherwise be unable to afford it or access it in time.
Thank you for supporting me, supporting Summits Up, and helping us ensure that more people get the support they need, when they need it most.
