Story
On 28th August, my wonderful dad Tim Walker, passed away after spending a week in Bury Hospice.
The pain of losing one of the most important people in my life was made slightly more bearable by knowing how incredible the care was he received.
Bury Hospice played an invaluable role in our journey, ensuring that my dad's final days were filled with dignity, comfort, and support. The dedicated staff and volunteers at the hospice went above and beyond, providing not only medical care but also emotional support to our family during this challenging time.
To express our gratitude and help Bury Hospice continue their vital work, I have set up this donation page. Your contribution, no matter how big or small, will make a meaningful impact and will ensure that other families facing similar situations receive the same level of care and support that my dad and our family experienced.

On Saturday 30th September Bury Hospice's 2023 Memory walkers will aim to complete a 4.5mile route from Whitefield Park in one of the Bury Townships, through Bury Town Centre, ending at Bury hospice in Fairfield.
It costs £4 million pounds to run Bury Hospice, and as a charity we have to raise £3.5 million through community support. Every donation makes a difference.
