At Young Lives vs Cancer, we help families find the strength to face whatever cancer throws at them. But every day 12 more children and young people hear the devastating news they have cancer. We’ll face it all together – but we can’t do it without you. Visit www.younglivesvscancer.org.uk

Story

Young Lives vs Cancer is a charity that means a great deal to the team at SPS. Some of my colleagues have been personally supported by this incredible organisation, so choosing them as our Charity of the Year felt special.

To help raise funds, a group of us are taking on a sponsored 10‑mile walk along the beautiful – and slightly challenging! – Jurassic Coast. We’re excited (and a little nervous), but knowing the difference this charity makes will keep us motivated.

If you’re able to support us, every donation, big or small, helps young people and their families facing cancer get the support they need at the toughest time of their lives.

Thank you for any contribution you can make. Your kindness really does make a difference. 💜

Thank you!

About Young Lives vs Cancer

Young Lives vs Cancer is the only charity in the UK with specialist social workers dedicated to supporting children, young people and their families through a cancer diagnosis and beyond. They help families with emotional, practical and financial challenges, working to make sure that no young person faces cancer alone.

Their support includes:

-Specialist social care to help families with the emotional and practical impact of cancer.

-Financial support and advice to ease costs associated with treatment.

-Free ‘Homes from Home’ accommodation near treatment centres so families can stay close during long hospital stays.

-Every day in the UK, around 10 children and young people are told they have cancer, and the charity works across the country to give them and their families tailored support
