Story
In 2021, Mum was diagnosed with Lymphoma. After receiving treatment from the local hospital, there was hope as she went into remission following six sessions of chemotherapy. However, in early March 2025, she became unwell again and faced the devastating news of Stage 4 Lymphoma. Despite a short course of chemotherapy that did not yield positive results, she was referred to the Royal Marsden for advanced care.
In September, she received ground-breaking CAR-T treatment. Just one day before my 50th birthday, we were overjoyed to learn that the treatment had worked and she was in remission! The journey through this brutal treatment has been challenging, but we are incredibly grateful for the unwavering support and exceptional care provided by the Royal Marsden.
As recovery continues slowly but surely, we feel compelled to give back to this remarkable institution that has done so much for our family. Therefore, Myles and I are lacing up our walking boots to participate in the South Downs Way Trek on May 2nd, 2026. We would be deeply appreciative if you could sponsor us in this endeavour.
