Story

On 15th June I'm taking on the Humber Swim challenge to raise funds for Humber Rescue, the volunteer lifeboat service that protects one of the UK’s most dangerous estuaries. Every penny I raise will help keep their crew trained, equipped, and ready to respond to emergencies 24/7.

Completing this swim is more than just a personal challenge—it's about supporting those who risk their lives to save others.

The swim can be between 1.5k and 4k, depending on the tides, and takes between 50 minutes and 1.5 hours

The Humber Estuary is known for its strong tides, making it a challenging but rewarding swim 😬

For those of you that have known me a long time, you'll probably know I spent 3 happy years living in Hull and so have a bit of an affinity with the Humber.

I’d be very grateful if you could support me by donating, sharing my page, or even just sending words of encouragement. Thank you for helping Humber Rescue continue their life-saving work!
