Story
Anyone who knows me, will know I have always had a severe allergy to any form of exercise! BUT, in April 2024 I put on my P.E kit and went for my 1st ever run! Fast forward to January 2025 and I have run roughly 550km so far! Not bad for someone who could just about run a bath this time last year!
I have challenged myself to run the London Landmarks half marathon in April of this year, not much of a feat for some but it will be a huge achievement for little old me!
21km (13.1 miles) of me lugging myself around our capital city and I will be doing so on behalf of the Multiple Sclerosis Society in memory of my wonderful Dad, Paul 🤍🕊
I am asking anyone who knew him, knew of him or those who have been affected in anyway by this cruel and debilitating disease to help me reach my target of £350 for such a worth cause.
Every penny absolutely counts!!
I never got to see my Dad run, ride a bike, play football or do any of the things we generally take for granted because I was just a baby when he was diagnosed and it took hold of his mobility almost overnight.
I lost him, my best friend in 2007, when he was just 44 years old- 8 years older than I am now which absolutely blows my mind!!
I know that he will be with me on the day, cheering me on... or more than likely, laughing at me! 🤣😉
