Story
Thank you for visiting our 2025 fundraising page. We are taking on these amazing challenges for the National Autistic Society, the UK's largest autism charity supporting the 700,000 people and their families across the country.
Autism is a life long developmental disability that affects 1 in 100 people. It affects the way a person communicates and how they see the world around them.
Our 5 year old son Stanley was diagnosed with autism when he was 3 and our 4 year old son Arthur is waiting his diagnosis.
We are passionate about raising awareness of autism and helping to create a world where our boys are accepted, included, and given every opportunity to thrive as they grow up. We are beyond proud of them and wouldn't change a thing. Differences shouldn’t be an obstacle. Whether it’s in school, in the workplace, or just everyday life - autistic people should be celebrated for who they are.
Therefore, because we are passionate about helping to support this amazing charity and making the world a better place for our beautiful boys, we've decided to take on yet another fundraising challenge......Aaron will be taking on Ironman Wales for a 2nd time on 21st September 2025 and Emma will be attempting to beat last year's marathon time taking on the Chicago marathon on 12th October 2025.
These are massive challenges for us.....juggling the training with an already hectic home and work life but we are determined to get them done in order to raise as much money as possible for The National Autistic Society.
Please can we ask you all to sponsor us whatever you can to help reach our fundraising target for this awesome charity. All your support to get us over those finish lines is much needed and very much appreciated!!
Thank you xxx
