Story
Welcome to my fundraising page for CoppaFeel!
Thank you so much for all your continued support 🙏🏼✨
I was diagnosed with invasive lobular breast cancer when I was 39 years old.
I’ve many surgeries including a mastectomy and TUG flap reconstruction which sadly had to be taken down as I still had lots of cancer left in my body. My tumour measured over 10.4cm and grows quite differently, it grows in lines so not always forming the typical lump.
I’ve also undergone 6 months of chemotherapy, 15 sessions of radiotherapy, I’ve been put into a medically induced menopause, I take daily medication and targeted treatment to reduce the risk of reoccurrence and to continue fighting any remaining cancer cells, I have regular injections to shut down my ovaries because my cancer likes to snack on my hormones, I also have regular infusions to prevent cancer spreading to my bones and organs.
I trekked 100km across the Sahara Desert in November, it was absolutely incredible and extremely tuff but I loved it! I met some amazing people and challenged myself.
I decided I wanted to continue raising awareness & funds for CoppaFeel so I signed up for the next challenge.
Please if you can donate anything it would be greatly appreciated 🫶🏼💖✨
Thank you xxxx

This May I will set out on a challenging, extraordinary and life-changing trek, all in the name of checking chests! Along with Gi Fletcher and the CoppaFeel! team, I will embark on a one day trek in the Peak District, in a bid to raise funds towards CoppaFeel's life-saving mission.
Your donations will not only support my fundraising target, but most importantly CoppaFeel!. They are on a mission to stamp out the late diagnosis of breast cancer by making sure that young people are regularly checking their boobs, pecs and chests and getting to know their bodies in order to have the confidence to see their GP if something just doesn't feel normal.
Thanks so much for your donation & support. To find out more about CoppaFeel! head to www.coppafeel.org.
