Story
Next year just before I run the London Marathon, I'm turning 30. An age my sister Ellie will never reach because her life was cut short when she died of Leukaemia aged 18 in 2022.
Running a marathon will test me physically and mentally but nothing will ever compare to what Ellie went through in the two years of her illness. She was the bravest person I'll ever know. So when the running gets tough, I know thinking of my sister will get me through it.
I miss Ellie beyond words, the bestest friend I was so lucky to have. I'll always be grateful for the 18 years we had together but feeling robbed of the lifetime we should have had together.
I'd be so grateful for any donation to this incredible charity - because it's only with research will we find a cure for this horrific disease and ensure other families don't face the heartache we face every single day.
