In just under 4 weeks, I'm running the Dublin Marathon to raise lots of money for Extern. Extern is a local charity which gives critical lifechanging support to the lives of children, young people, individuals and families in a range of issues such as people facing homelessness and mental health issues, addictions and vulnerability, to name a few. For more than 40 years Extern have been standing shoulder to shoulder with people as they support them to transform their lives, creating safer communities for all.

Extern never walks away and never gives up. They believe in the power of the second, third, fourth chance and more.

When someone is unable to break out of the situation they find themselves in, Extern reach in and offer the support they tell them they need. They pride themselves in meeting people at their point of need.
