Story
The London Marathon has been on my bucket list for as long as I can remember and so, in my 49th year, I've decided to dust off my running shoes (oh boy were they dusty!) and sign up for the challenge!
Last year I watched my sister, Fiona, run it and was itching to get involved, so I put my name in the Pendleside Hospice ballot and very luckily got a place, which means this year we'll be running together.
Whilst training for a marathon is no easy feat, knowing I am able to support Pendleside Hospice is spurring me on to achieving those 26 miles. Our family has benefitted firsthand from the care and support the hospice provides to families when they need it the most, so I am delighted to be fundraising for them. If you are able to help me support Pendleside by donating even just a small amount it would be so much appreciated, and it may just help me limp, stagger or crawl over that finish line with the biggest smile on my face!
Thank you so much.
Big love,
