Hi everybody,

As many of you know, I took up running during lockdown, having had no previous interest in exercise of any kind, and it's been such an important part of my life throughout the last few years, the perfect mental health break.

I've been fortunate enough to secure a spot at the London Marathon in April which I am probably equally terrified (the distance!) and excited (the crowds!) about.

As I'm running the London Marathon, I want to use this opportunity to raise money for Orchard Vale Trust, a charity based in Somerset that supports adults with learning disabilities to live life to the full.

About OVT:

We take a holistic approach to care, providing people with homes for life, as well as offering community and day services.

We have seen first-hand the brilliant things that people with learning disabilities can achieve, and we strive to share these achievements with the wider community.

We approach every person we support as the individual that they are, allowing them to choose the direction of their care wherever possible.
